What is Manual Osteopathy?

Manual osteopathy is a hands-on therapy that focuses on restoring balance, alignment, and mobility in the body. It works with the muscles, joints, spine, and soft tissues to relieve pain, improve posture, and support the body’s natural ability to heal. It’s gentle, holistic, and tailored to your specific needs.

With manual osteopathy, you can receive a variety of gentle, hands-on treatments designed to reduce pain, improve movement, and support overall wellness. These include:

  • Joint Mobilization – Gentle movements to restore normal motion in joints.
  • Myofascial Release – Soft tissue work to relieve tension and improve circulation.
  • Muscle Energy Techniques – Targeted stretches that help reset muscle imbalances.
  • Cranial Osteopathy – Subtle techniques that support the nervous system and reduce stress.
  • Visceral Manipulation – Gentle techniques to improve organ function and reduce abdominal tension.
  • Postural Correction & Alignment – Improving how your body moves and holds itself.

Each session is tailored to your body’s needs—whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, injuries, stress, or just want to feel your best.

What to Wear?

What to Wear to Your Manual Osteopathy Appointment:

For your comfort and to allow for effective treatment, please wear or bring the following:

  • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (e.g., athletic wear, leggings, or shorts and a T-shirt).
  • Avoid jeans, skirts, or restrictive clothing.
  • You may be asked to remove outer layers such as sweaters or jackets.
  • If you are wearing shorts, they should be loose enough for easy movement.

You will remain clothed during the treatment, but access such areas like your back, neck, or limbs may be required depending on your treatment needs.

Any concerns or accommodations, feel free to let us know in advance!
